Most small-pet houses are just a box with a hole in it. The Nibbly™ Hollow Keep gives your guinea pig or hamster two arched chambers connected by an open runway, plus a ramp up to the top platform — so it functions as a hideout, a lookout, and a bit of climbing enrichment in one solid wood piece.

Built from solid multi-layer wood panels with a scalloped, castle-inspired silhouette. Ships flat-packed and assembles without tools.

Species suitability

• Best suited for: guinea pigs and Syrian (golden) hamsters — the chamber size and 11 cm arch openings are built around this scale.
• Also compatible with: dwarf hamsters and hedgehogs, and fancy rats with supervision given the solid wood construction.
• Not recommended for: chinchillas, rabbits, or squirrels — sized for compact burrowing companions rather than larger-bodied species.

Materials and construction

Solid multi-layer wood panels in a natural finish, slot-assembled without hardware or glue.

Setup and care

1. Slot the wall panels together, starting with the base.
2. Attach the ramp to the top deck edge.
3. Wipe down periodically; spot-clean any soiled bedding from inside the chambers.

Important guidance

Solid wood will show gnaw marks over time — that's normal chew wear, not a defect. Replace if a chamber wall becomes structurally thin.
